Answers before you deploy.
Short, factual answers. Each one describes how VibingView really works today.
What can I put online with VibingView?
Web apps, APIs and background services that run in containers. Projects are built from a ZIP file, a GitHub repository or the one-click catalog. Node.js, Next.js, Vite, static sites, Python and PHP/Laravel builds are set up automatically, and any project with a Dockerfile builds as it is.
Do I need to manage the server myself?
No. VibingView sets up the server, installs the workspace agent, builds containers with Docker BuildKit, routes traffic with Caddy and creates the HTTPS certificates. You deploy and manage your apps from the dashboard, the CLI, or an AI editor through the MCP connector.
Is a workspace a shared server?
No. One workspace is one private server (VPS) with fixed CPU, memory, storage and transfer. Several of your apps and managed databases can share it, but never another customer.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Where you bought the domain, add an A record that points to your server (the dashboard shows the exact record and checks it for you). VibingView then creates and renews the HTTPS certificate. Each app can have up to three custom domains.
Which databases can I use?
PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and MongoDB run as managed containers on your workspace’s private network. You can link a database to an app in one click: this sets its DATABASE_URL and restarts the app without a rebuild.
How does billing work?
You add money to a wallet in euros, by card or crypto. Each workspace is paid up front for its period (1, 6 or 12 months) and renews from the wallet. Each plan has a fixed price: no pay-per-use computing, no extra bandwidth charges and no surprise bills.
What happens if my wallet is empty when it is time to renew?
The workspace is switched off for 28 days instead of being deleted, so you can recover it. Top up and restore it from the dashboard. After 28 days without payment, the server is deleted.
Can I move to a bigger server later?
Yes. Ask for a bigger plan from the workspace page. There is no automatic resize: support confirms the move and the price before anything is charged.
Can I deploy from an AI editor or a terminal?
Yes. The VibingView CLI connects to your account from the terminal, and the MCP connector lets AI editors list apps, read logs, set environment variables and start rebuilds, using tokens with limited permissions.
Where are my backups?
You can download your source files and database dumps at any time, and server snapshots are available on supported server pools. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot recreate.
